You have identified an innovation in oncology and are willing to promote it to ensure the best possible chance of success. MATWIN, a nationwide service platform that supports the maturation of innovative research projects in oncology will offer you the opportunity to benefit from:

  • Why should you apply ?
MATWIN, a wholly owned subsidiary of UNICANCER group, is a nationwide programme that identifies, qualifies and reinforces preclinical maturation of research projects in oncology aiming a transfer to the market.
MATWIN is supported by twelve of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies involved in the fight against cancer (Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bayer HealthCare, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene, GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen, Novartis, Pfizer, Pierre Fabre, Roche, and Sanofi) and by the French Cancéropôles.MATWIN identifies world-class projects in France, increases their industrial attractiveness and optimizes their transfer potential for the benefit of patients.

  • Who can apply ?
Any project leader from a public or a private structure (start-up) who has identified a patented innovation in oncology (or patent in progress). This innovation should have an application in cancer, should demonstrate first effective preclinical results and may be related to to predictive, diagnostic, therapeutic fields or medical device.
As encouraged through the 3rd French Cancer Plan, a special attention will be given to projects offering innovations in diagnostic or therapeutic for pediatric cancers (childs or young adults)

Contact the MATWIN team, complete the letter of intent and return it before 2016 June 17th. We advise you to work closely with your TTO (Technology Transfer Office) as well as with your Cancéropôle and if needed with the MATWIN platform.
